On the morning of May 9, 2013, a fully loaded tanker truck exiting I 81 NB at Exit 67B for State College, overturned igniting its 7,500 gallons of diesel fuel on the U.S. 0322 WB ramp.  The resulting fire burned for over an hour, exposing several structures to extreme heat and direct flames for that period.  PennDOT's District 8-0 requested Michael Baker Jr., Inc. (Baker) to perform an emergency damage Inspection on the affected structures and provide rehabilitation / replacement recommendations to the Department.  In addition to the inspections, Baker also provided Construction Management support for both the emergency demolition and subsequent replacement/repair of the two damaged overhead structures.  The presentation will focus on both the inspection and subsequent construction activities
